Cambodian maize consumption is expected to rise slightly over the next five years. In 2021, the country ranked 73rd, behind Portugal at 187,000 metric tons. India, China and Indonesia ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Cambodian maize production is projected to grow 3.5% year on year up to 2026. Since 1966, the country's production has increased by 17.2%, making it the 54th largest producer in 2021. Slovakia was ahead at 1.5 million metric tons, while China, Brazil and Argentina ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
