In 2018, Cypriot maize consumption was close to 13,000 metric tons, only slightly lower than the 13,000 metric tons consumed the year before. The country ranked 121st in the world, and was overtaken by the United Arab Emirates, which consumed 13,000 metric tons. India, China and Indonesia ranked second, third, and fourth respectively.
