Romanian wheat production is expected to rise to 12,439,000 metric tons by 2026, a 2.2% annual increase since 1966. Poland currently outranks Romania at 10,948,000 metric tons, but the country is still 15th in the world for wheat production. India, Russia, and the United States are the second, third, and fourth-highest wheat producers, respectively.
