This marks a modest annual growth rate of 0.9% in compound annual growth rate (CAGR). Notably, since 2019, the demand for alcoholic beverages in Uganda has seen a yearly increase of 1.4%. In 2023, Uganda was ranked 74th in global alcoholic drink consumption, with New Zealand slightly ahead at the same level of 15,000 metric tons.
