According to recent data, consumption is expected to drop from 6,000 metric tons in 2023 to approximately 5,900 metric tons by 2028, marking an average annual decrease of 0.2%. Since 2019, the demand for alcoholic drinks in Bolivia has remained steady. In the global ranking for 2023, Bolivia stood at the 90th position, with Cyprus just ahead, also consuming 6,000 metric tons. Leading the list were India, Japan, and Russia, which occupied the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. On the export front, Bolivia is experiencing a positive trend. The country's alcoholic drink exports are forecasted to grow from nearly $63 million in 2023 to almost $69 million by 2028, reflecting an average annual growth rate of 1.4%. Historical data shows that since 1997, Bolivia's alcohol supply has been increasing at an average rate of 0.4% per year.
