Since 2019, the demand for alcoholic beverages in Chile has been falling at a rate of 0.5% annually. In 2023, Chile ranked 39th globally in terms of alcoholic drink consumption, with Indonesia surpassing it at 40,000 metric tons. India, Japan, and Russia took the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively, in this ranking. On the export front, Chile's alcoholic drink exports are set to rise to $2.38 billion by 2028, up from $2.17 billion in 2023. This represents an average annual growth rate of 1.5%. Since 1995, Chilean exports of alcoholic beverages have increased by 1.3% year on year.
