In 2023, Zambia ranked 87th in global alcoholic drink consumption, with Luxembourg surpassing it by consuming the same 7,000 metric tons. India, Japan, and Russia secured the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. On the export front, Zambia's alcoholic drink exports are expected to rise to nearly $100 million by 2028, increasing from around $83 million in 2023. This represents an average annual growth rate of 3%. Since 2000, Zambia's supply has experienced a steady annual increase of 2.5%.
