This marks a marginal decrease from the 16,000 metric tons recorded in 2023, with an average annual drop of 0.1%. Since 2019, the demand for alcoholic beverages in Liberia has shown stability. However, in the global ranking for 2023, Liberia placed 69th, as Nigeria surpassed it with a consumption of 16,000 metric tons. On the international stage, India, Japan, and Russia took the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively, in the same ranking.
