Filipina alcoholic drink consumption is on track to hit 503,000 metric tons by 2028, up from around 487,000 metric tons in 2023. This represents a modest annual growth rate of 0.5%. Since 2019, the demand for alcoholic beverages in the Philippines has grown by approximately 0.8% each year. In 2023, the country ranked seventh in global consumption, with Germany leading at the same level of 487,000 metric tons. India, Japan, and Russia occupied the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively. On the export front, the value of Filipino alcoholic drink exports is projected to reach $171 million by 2028 from roughly $145 million in 2023, showing an annual growth rate of 2.6%. Since 2001, the country's supply for export has increased by about 4.9% each year.
