Lithuanian berry production is projected to climb to approximately 8,000 metric tons by 2028, up from around 7,800 metric tons in 2023, marking an average annual growth rate of 0.4%. This slight increase comes despite a historical trend of decline; since 2005, Lithuanian berry supply has decreased by an average of 3.4% per year. In the 2023 rankings, Lithuania held the 14th position in berry production. Bulgaria narrowly surpassed Lithuania with a similar output of about 7,800 metric tons. Leading the ranking were Serbia, Spain, and Portugal, taking the second, third, and fourth spots respectively.
