Cocoa production in Bolivia is projected to reach around 6,250 metric tons by 2026. This is a 0.8% average increase year-on-year since 1966. In 2021, Bolivia was the 26th largest cocoa producer in the world, with Nicaragua coming in ahead at 5,970 metric tons. Ghana, Indonesia and Nigeria were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. On the other hand, Bolivian cocoa imports are expected to fall by 3.2% year-on-year to 34,240 kilograms in 2026. This is a 12.9% increase since 1999. In 2021, Finland surpassed Bolivia's 41,510 kilograms of imports and ranked 56th in the world. The United States, Malaysia and Germany were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
