Peru ranked eighth in 2021, behind Brazil's 149,950 metric tons. Ghana, Indonesia, and Nigeria followed in second, third, and fourth place, respectively. Meanwhile, Peruvian cocoa imports are projected to drop 18.7% annually to reach 61,230 kilograms in 2026, down from 2021's 193,200 kilograms. Since 1999, demand has decreased 32.5% per year. Peru came in 47th in 2021, behind Thailand's 193,200 kilograms. The United States, Malaysia, and Germany ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively.
