Cocoa production in Angola is set to reach 575 metric tons by 2026, an increase of 1.8% annually. Since 1966, supply has grown by 2.9% year over year. In 2021, Angola was ranked 40th, overtaken by Guyana with 516 metric tons. The top three producers were Ghana, Indonesia, and Nigeria. Meanwhile, cocoa imports to Angola fell drastically in 2021 to 691 kilograms, a 48% drop from the 1,340 kilograms imported in 2020. Since 2012, demand has grown 180% year over year. Angola was ranked 87th in 2021, overtaken by Lithuania. The top three importers were the United States, Malaysia, and Germany.
