Swiss demand for cocoa is set to increase steadily over the next five years. According to figures from 2021, imports of cocoa into Switzerland reached 49,812,000 kilograms. This is a rise of 5.3% since 1993. Russia is the largest importer of cocoa in 2021, with 49,812,000 kilograms, followed by the United States, Malaysia and Germany. Swiss imports of cocoa are projected to reach 54.4 million kilograms in 2026, an increase of 1.5% each year on average.
