Since 1994, the country's tin demand has grown at a rate of 4.6% year on year. Paraguay's tin exports rose dramatically in 2018, reaching $19,050 compared to 2017's figure of $7,940, a 139.8% increase. The country ranked 84th in the world for tin exports, with Kazakhstan coming in first at $19,050. Malaysia, Peru and Singapore followed, ranking 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
