New Zealand's tin import and export is set to increase in the next five years. Imports will grow by 0.8% a year on average, reaching $29.4 million in 2026. Exports, on the other hand, have been declining since 1994 and are expected to continue to do so, with a drop of 33.9% in that time. In 2018, New Zealand was the 44th largest exporter of tin, with South Africa taking the top spot. Malaysia, Peru and Singapore followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
