Saudi Arabia’s tin imports are set to top $18 million by 2026, according to new figures. The figure is a 2.6% year-on-year increase from the 2021 total of $15.8 million. Since 1996, Saudi demand for tin has grown 14% annually on average. The country’s tin exports are also forecast to hit $10.5 million in 2026, a 3.3% year-on-year rise from the 2021 total of $8.6 million. Since 1996, Saudi tin supply has seen a 32.4% annual increase on average. The country was placed 29th in the 2021 rankings, with Australia topping the list at $8.6 million. Malaysia, Peru and Singapore followed in second, third and fourth place.
