The tin trade in Montenegro is set to expand in the next five years. According to a recent forecast, imports of tin to Montenegro will reach $35,190 by 2026. This marks an increase of 1.6% from 2021, when tin imports were valued at $31,930. On an annual basis, the country has seen a year-on-year growth of 1% since 2011. Meanwhile, Montenegrin exports of tin skyrocketed in 2018, growing by 10,560% to $10,240 from the $96 recorded in 2017. Since 2012, the country has seen an impressive year-on-year increase of 203.1%. In 2018, Montenegro ranked 88th in terms of tin exports, with Lebanon coming in first at $10,240. Malaysia, Peru, and Singapore respectively occupied the second, third, and fourth places in the same ranking.
