Guamanian honey production is on the rise. It's set to reach 20.3 metric tons by 2026, a 1.2% increase from the 19 metric tons produced in 2021. This upward trend has been going on since 1966, when the average year-on-year growth was 2.3%. In 2021, Guam ranked 125th globally in terms of honey production. Suriname came in first, producing 19 metric tons. Canada, Argentina, and Iran took the next three spots.
