Burundian honey production is expected to reach 678 metric tons by 2026, according to a recent report. In 2021, it was 618 metric tons. Since 1966, the supply of honey in Burundi has grown by 1.1% each year. Last year, the country was 97th in the world rankings – behind the Ivory Coast, which had 618 metric tons of production. Canada, Argentina and Iran followed in the top four.
