Moroccan honey consumption is expected to reach around 7,400 metric tons by 2026, representing a 0.8% increase year-on-year. This is in contrast to 2021 where no change was observed. Morocco ranked 33rd in 2021, with Sweden coming in first with 7,000 metric tons. The United States, Germany and Iran were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively. Meanwhile, production of Moroccan honey is estimated to reach 10,290 metric tons by 2026, with a 3.2% year-on-year growth rate. This was a 12.1% increase since 1966. Morocco came 38th in 2021, with Cuba taking the top spot at 8,500 metric tons. Canada, Argentina and Iran followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, respectively.
