In 2021, Sweden was in 62nd place with 3,430 metric tons, behind Bosnia and Herzegovina's 3,480 metric tons and ahead of Canada, Argentina and Iran. In terms of consumption, Sweden produced 8 thousand metric tons in 2018, the same as in 2017 and in 31st place, behind New Zealand's 8 thousand metric tons. The United States, Germany and Iran were second, third and fourth respectively.
