Sweden is set to see a modest 0.2% increase in honey production by 2026. This is a slight uptick from the 0.9% year-on-year growth since 1966. In 2021, Sweden was in 62nd place with 3,430 metric tons, behind Bosnia and Herzegovina's 3,480 metric tons and ahead of Canada, Argentina and Iran. In terms of consumption, Sweden produced 8 thousand metric tons in 2018, the same as in 2017 and in 31st place, behind New Zealand's 8 thousand metric tons. The United States, Germany and Iran were second, third and fourth respectively.
