Consumption of honey in Russia is projected to reach 57,100 metric tons by 2026, down 0.8% from 60,000 metric tons in 2021. This marks no change since 2017. Russia is the fifth-largest consumer of honey in 2021, behind Iran's 60,000 metric tons. The United States, Germany and Iran followed Russia in second, third and fourth place, respectively. Russia's production of honey is set to reach 65,900 metric tons by 2026, a 0.3% increase year on year from 64,800 metric tons in 2021. Since 1997, production has decreased by 1.5% annually. In 2021, India led with 64,800 metric tons, followed by Canada, Argentina and Iran in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
