Poland is set to be the world's 23rd largest producer of honey in 2026, with production expected to reach 23 thousand metric tons. This would be an increase of 1.6% year-on-year since 2021, and a 2.2% increase since 1966. Germany currently holds the top spot, producing 21 thousand metric tons in 2021. Canada, Argentina, and Iran round out the top four. Polish consumption of honey was 4 thousand metric tons in 2018. This was slightly up from 2017, and placed the country 43rd in the global rankings. Madagascar was the top consuming country in 2018, followed by the US, Germany, and Iran.
