Lithuania ranked 44th in the world in 2021 with 5,450 metric tons, behind Rwanda. Canada, Argentina and Iran respectively came in at 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the ranking. In 2018, Lithuanian honey consumption was around 2,000 metric tons, up from the previous year. Lithuania was ranked 65th in the world, with Afghanistan coming in ahead at 2,000 metric tons. The United States, Germany, and Iran respectively were 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the ranking.
