Dane honey production remained stable in 2019, at 1,500 metric tons, the same as in 2018. The country has seen no significant change in its production since 2009, and was ranked 77th in the world. Peru, Canada, Argentina and Iran occupied the top four spots in the ranking. Dane honey consumption was also stable in 2018, at 4 thousand metric tons, compared to 2017. Serbia overtook Dane in the ranking, coming in at 43rd; the United States, Germany and Iran occupied the top four spots.
