Honey production in Pakistan is set to reach 5,000 metric tons by 2026, an increase of 1.2% year on year. Since 1966, the country's supply has jumped by 1.1% annually. In 2021, Pakistan ranked 49th, with Cameroon overtaking at 4,610 metric tons. Canada, Argentina and Iran followed, taking the second, third and fourth places respectively. In 2018, Pakistani honey consumption totalled 3,000 metric tons, up from 2017's 3,000 metric tons. The country ranked 54th, with Belarus ahead at 3,000 metric tons. The United States, Germany and Iran took the second, third and fourth spots in this ranking.
