East Timorese honey production is expected to increase to over 610 metric tons by 2026. Since 1971, the country's supply has grown at a rate of about 0.8% each year. In 2021, East Timor was number 98 in the global ranking of honey producers, just behind Burundi's 595 metric tons. Canada, Argentina and Iran were the top three producers, respectively.
