Czech road casualties are set to reach around 30,000 by 2026. In 2021, the country was ranked 14th, with 28,700 casualties, falling behind Ukraine. Germany, Italy and Russia were numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the ranking, respectively. Demand for road casualties in the Czech Republic has been growing at a rate of 0.5% each year since 2015.
