Since 2002, car production in Sweden has been falling at an annual rate of 1.8%. In 2023, Sweden was ranked 28th in car production, trailing behind Uzbekistan, which produced the same number of units. Japan, Germany, and India secured the second, third, and fourth spots in this category, respectively.
