This marks an average annual decrease of 1.5%. The downward trend in demand is not new for Bahrain, which has seen car registrations fall by an average of 3.6% per year since 2010. In the global ranking for 2023, Bahrain was positioned at number 70. Uruguay surpassed Bahrain with registrations reaching the same figure of 26,600 units. Meanwhile, Indonesia, Austria, and Belgium secured the second, third, and fourth spots respectively in the car registration rankings for 2023.
