Egypt's lead exports are projected to reach around $9.5 million by 2026 - up slightly from $9.2 million in 2021. This growth rate of 0.4% annually has been observed since 1999, when exports peaked at $10.7 million. In 2021, Egypt ranked 62nd in the world in terms of lead exports, behind Laos at $9.2 million. Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada respectively ranked second, third and fourth. In contrast, Egyptian lead imports are expected to drop to around $17.3 million by 2026, down from $17.6 million in 2021 - a decrease of 0.4% annually. Since 1999, demand for lead imports has declined by 6.5% annually. Egypt ranked 41st in 2021, behind Canada at $17.6 million. India, Germany and the United Kingdom respectively came second, third and fourth.
