India is set to become the second-largest lead importer in the world by 2026. Imports are expected to reach $1.11 billion, up from $933 million in 2021, at an average annual growth rate of 3%. Germany and the UK were the third and fourth largest importers, respectively. In 2021, Germany overtook India as the sixth-largest exporter, with exports of $487 million. Australia, the UK and Canada were the second, third and fourth largest exporters, respectively.
