Uganda's lead exports are expected to hit $2.4 million by 2026, up from $1.9 million in 2021. This represents a 4.5% average year-on-year growth since 2007. In 2021, the country ranked 86th in this regard, with Bolivia overtaking it at $1.9 million. Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada were the second, third, and fourth biggest exporters, respectively. Meanwhile, Ugandan lead imports plummeted 92.6% from $157,940 in 2017 to $11,650 in 2018. Over the past two decades, the country's demand has steadily declined by nearly 60%. In 2018, Gambia overtook Uganda, ranking 133rd. India, Germany and the UK were the second, third and fourth largest importers, respectively.
