Uruguay's lead exports are set to increase to around $450 million by 2026, according to an annual growth rate of 1.7%. Since 1999, exports have grown at an average rate of 3.1% per year. In 2021, the country ranked 97th worldwide with exports of $411 million. Qatar topped the list, followed by Australia, the United Kingdom and Canada. Imports of lead into Uruguay, however, decreased 13.5% to $78 million in 2021, compared to $90 million in 2020. Since 1999, imports have decreased 16.1% per year on average. In 2021, Uruguay ranked 116th worldwide with imports of $78 million, with Jordan taking first place. India, Germany and the United Kingdom ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
