Since 2013, the Bulgarian software market has seen a steady increase, growing at an average annual rate of 4.5%. Despite this progress, Bulgaria ranked 22nd in software revenue in 2023. In comparison, Greece slightly edged out Bulgaria with an identical revenue figure of about €56 million. Leading the European software revenue rankings were Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Cyprus, holding the second, third, and fourth positions respectively.
