Global ICT exports are predicted to reach $922 billion by 2026. This is an increase of 2.9% year-on-year, on top of the 9.2% growth since 2009. Ireland tops the list of countries, with exports of $159 billion in 2021. India, the United States, and China follow in second, third, and fourth place respectively. Brunei saw the highest year-on-year growth, at 228.1%, while Sierra Leone declined by 61.7%. European ICT revenue is expected to hit €1.81 trillion by 2026, a CAGR of 1.2%. Since 2016, the market has grown 3.1% year-on-year. Germany is number one in the region, with €317.6 billion in 2021. The United Kingdom, France, and Ireland follow in second, third, and fourth place. Malta was the fastest growing nation, at 16.5%, while Italy declined 0.2%.
