Key Market Indicators
Swiss imports of clothing accessories are projected to plummet by 2028. Current forecasts indicate a stark drop to approximately $800,000, compared to the $1.7 million recorded in 2023. This represents an annual decline rate of about 12%. This downward trend is not new. Since 1993, the demand for clothing accessories in Switzerland has been decreasing by an average of 11% each year. On the export front, there was a slight uptick in 2019. Swiss clothing accessories exports reached nearly $16,000, up from around $15,000 in 2018, marking a 7% increase over the previous year. However, the long-term outlook paints a grimmer picture. Since 1993, the supply of Swiss clothing accessories has dwindled by more than 42% annually.
