Bahrain's clothing accessories export is projected to decline significantly over the next few years. By 2028, exports are expected to drop to approximately $6,000, down from around $7,900 in 2023. This represents an average annual decrease of 4.4%. The downward trend is not new; since 2013, Bahrain's supply of clothing accessories has consistently fallen at an annual rate of 4.2%. On the import side, the situation is equally concerning. Bahrain's imports of clothing accessories plummeted to about $22,000 in 2023, a sharp decline from roughly $32,000 in 2022. This marks a staggering 31.5% drop in just one year. The long-term trend also shows a steep decline, with demand for these imports falling by an average of 20.7% each year since 2005.
