Sales of shampoo are expected to reach nearly $146 million by 2026, a 0.4% increase from 2020, according to a recent market report. This growth is slightly higher than the average 0.8% annual growth rate since 1998. Japan, the United Kingdom, and France currently occupy the second, third, and fourth positions in the global rankings, respectively. Norwegian imports of shampoo are estimated to reach around 7.2 million kilograms by 2026, a 1.6% year-on-year rise, with an annual growth rate of 4.7% since 1998. Meanwhile, Norwegian exports of shampoo are forecast to drop to around 338,500 kilograms by 2026, a 1.4% decrease from 2021. This is in line with an overall 2.4% average annual decline since 1998. In 2021, Fiji overtook Norway in this ranking, with 368,310 kilograms exported. Germany, Italy, and Poland are in second, third, and fourth places, respectively.
