Slovakia overtook Portugal as the 40th largest exporter in 2021. Germany, Italy and Poland were the second, third and fourth largest exporters, respectively. Portuguese shampoo imports are estimated to grow 1.7% annually to nearly 24 million kilograms in 2026 from 21.7 million kilograms in 2021. Portuguese demand for shampoo has risen 1.8% each year since 1993. Belgium overtook Portugal as the fifth largest importer in 2021. Germany, Italy and France were the top three importers, respectively.
