Algerian cosmetics exports are expected to decline 16% to $332 million by 2026, from $889 million in 2021. Since 1997, exports have decreased by an average of 11% each year. Algeria came in 113th in 2021, overtaken by Zimbabwe with $889 million. The US, Germany, and Ireland came in second, third, and fourth in the ranking. Algerian cosmetics imports, meanwhile, are predicted to grow 2.5% to $405 million by 2026, from $349 million in 2021. Demand has been falling by an average of 0.1% annually since 1997. Algeria was 57th in 2021, overtaken by Finland at $349 million. China, Germany, and the UK came in second, third, and fourth in the ranking.
