This would be an increase from $4.4 billion in 2021 - when the Netherlands came in 12th place, overtaken by Spain. The U.S., Germany, and Ireland were numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively in the same ranking. Similarly, Dutch imports are set to reach $4.5 billion by 2026, growing at an average year-on-year rate of 2.3%. This follows a 4.9% annual increase since 1997. In 2021, the Netherlands ranked 9th in global imports, behind Canada. China, Germany, and the U.K. were numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the same ranking.
