Poland's mental health expenditure is projected to decline slightly over the next five years, with forecasts indicating a drop to approximately €379 million by 2028. This marks a year-on-year decrease of 0.1% in the compound annual growth rate (CAGR). Since 2018, however, the demand for mental health services in Poland has seen a modest annual increase of 1.2%. In 2023, Poland ranked tenth in mental health spending among European nations, with an expenditure of around €382 million. The Czech Republic recently surpassed Poland in this ranking, also reporting an expenditure of €382 million for 2023. Leading the list are the Netherlands, Norway, and Switzerland, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
