Paper imports to Uganda will increase by 1.3% year on year, to reach 45,650 metric tons by 2026. This figure is up from 42,130 metric tons in 2021. Since 1966, Ugandan demand for paper has decreased by 1.9% year on year. Exports of paper from Uganda are projected to rise to 2,990 metric tons by 2026, up from 2,310 metric tons in 2021. This marks an average growth rate of 4.1% year on year. Since 2008, Ugandan paper supplies have been increasing by 11.9% year on year.
