Demand for paper in French Polynesia is expected to decrease slightly. According to the latest figures, paper imports are forecast to go from 2,580 metric tons in 2021 to 2,510 metric tons by 2026, a 0.8% year-on-year average decrease since 1997. Meanwhile, paper exports are predicted to rise, growing from 22 metric tons in 2021 to 28 metric tons by 2026, a 4% average increase since 2002.
