Hungary's exports of spreads are projected to reach €1.4 million by 2026, up from €1.3 million in 2021. On average, exports have grown by 2.3% year-on-year since 2008. In 2021, Hungary ranked 17th in global exports, behind Bulgaria's €1.3 million. Germany, Poland and France were the top three exporters, respectively. Meanwhile, imports of spreads into Hungary are expected to reach €18.1 million by 2026, up from €15 million in 2021. On average, imports have risen by 13% year-on-year since 2006. In 2021, Hungary ranked 13th, overtaken by Ireland's €15 million. The U.K., Germany and Belgium were the top three importers, respectively.
