Italian exports of spreads are predicted to reach €302 million by 2026. Since 2000, the supply of Italian spreads has grown by around 4% a year. Germany, Poland and France are currently the top three importers of Italian spreads. Meanwhile, imports of spreads into Italy are expected to reach €30 million by 2026. Since 2000, demand for Italian spreads has dropped by an average of 3.2% a year. Austria is currently the biggest importer of Italian spreads, followed by the United Kingdom, Germany and Belgium.
