Vietnamese prescription glasses imports and exports faced a sharp decline in 2021. Imports fell by almost 30% from 2020 to just under $3,000. Since 2006, imports have decreased by more than 20%. India, Hungary, and the Dominican Republic were the second, third, and fourth biggest importers of Vietnamese prescription glasses, respectively. Exports, however, saw a more positive trend. In 2021, exports increased by a staggering 275% from the previous year to almost $800.
