Belgian exports of prescription glasses dropped 55.2% in 2018, from $25,400 to $11,390. This is the lowest level since 2004, when exports stood at $11,800. Imports of prescription glasses in Belgium in 2018 increased 61.2%, from $15,400 to $24,820. This is the second lowest level since 2004, when imports totalled $32,600. Morocco was the top exporter of prescription glasses to Belgium in 2018, with exports totalling $24,820. India, Hungary and the Dominican Republic followed, respectively ranking 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
